I am trying to weigh a cue on my scale to put it on here but for some reason it keeps flashing H. It only weighs up to about 10oz. and then flashes H. What does H mean, and how do I fix it? ( it is an Acculab scale capacity 4000g )

yah i think its trash.. I cant weigh a cockroach without it flashing H. Now it turns on displaying H.

Yeah I would try the battery. That happens with My calipers when the battery gets weak.

Did You change the battery? Is there a "Tare" button on It anywhere? I haven't had to change the battery in My scales yet, but as I mentioned My calipers do the same thing when the battery goes bad. With those all I have to do is replace the battery and zero them in.

On a side note My scales have a power adapter as well, so if the battery went bad on them, I always have a backup power source until I can get new batteries.

By the way, I know It's been asked and that company makes both, but are you sure that it's 4000g and not 400g.When an applied load exceeds the unit's capacity, “H” will appear on the display.

Yes it says right on it 4000g, and Mine also has a power source so i know its not battery, which i replaced anyway. I hit tarre and it doesnt do anything... I have given up on it!

Could be out of calibration. Not sure if It's of any use to you, but Sent You a PM with a link to PDF files on their scales..
