Back story:

Schaefer, Ives and Slosson are the kings of the game.

Ives snatches the title from Schaefer, but its a fluke and Schaefer wants it back
Ives avoids him. (causing tension)
Slosson retires.
Schaefer issues a challenge to "ANYONE" for any amount of money at any room.
While Schaefer is traveling, he busts an imposter, while he is posing as Slosson.

Its a pretty funny story when you think about it.
" my name sir is Slosson AND YOU ARE NOT IN IT."

LOL imagine that scenario today...

Shane checks into a hotel and the manager shows up at his room, asking him to bust a poser down in the pool room....

He goes down to get in on the action, whips the kid a few times and says my name is Reyes and you are not in it!

The kid says well I'm Shane van boening and i'll play you for any amount of money!

Too funny.
