The nice thing about Schmelke is that they will make you a custom cue for a great price and they play great. I have 4 Schmelke's and I had the same problems with matching joints on my first two that I just ordered online. The last two, I called and talked to Dave and I got just what I wanted. I had them make both joints at .840, so they will match up with about any aftermarket shaft. I can screw about anything on the 3/8x10 pin and it fits flush and looks good. I really like their flat laminated PTO shafts. They feel a lot like the Jacoby Hybrid Edge shafts to me. I'm getting ready to order another cue in the next month or so. I'll post pics when I get it. Here are my three cues I have in my case now. The wrapless has a BEM forearm and was a $35 up charge. The full bacote with the Purple Heart shaft is my break cue.
