Hi,
In your opinion, what is the best schmelke cue joint, and why?
I like a forward balanced butt, but I read somewhere that their 'Joint #1
Classic Schmelke brass' (their most forward balanced they say) is terrible. Anyone having anadvised opinion?
What about their uniloc joint? The advantage of this one is that I play with uniloc 314.2 shafts.
What about their own shafts (standard and laminated ones)?
Do Pearl Rings at the joint and a Pearl Butt Cap add solidity to the cue?
Anyone having tried their longer cues? (I am interested by a 64")
I have seen two models where it is possible to choose between many options:
http://www.billiardwarehouse.com/cues/schmelke/schmelke_r1bloodwood.htm
and
http://schmelkecue.com/m061-rosewood-with-butterfly-splice.html
For the last one, it is possible to choose between East Indian Rosewood (standard) or Ebony (+75$). I don' t know if, in term of quality, the latter is best?
It's all
Marc
