Anyone own one or know how the Schmelke shafts do with deflection? Any pivot point info?
Thanks

Well, if it helps at all, schmelke shafts are possibly the stiffest shaft on planet earth. So they really don't deflect much at all. I would imagine they would have a curve at contact very close to the tip, as they are relativly cone shaped when compared with the average "pro" taper.

schmelke

I got a Schmelke last week (just posted about it 5 minutes ago) But, I've been using a Predator Z (lowest deflection in the game) I had them set up the sneaky pete I just ordered for the Z shaft but I shot with the original that came with it (12 mm) and I honestly couldn't see that much of a difference between the two. Which is quite a testimony because I am one of those people that can definitly tell the difference.Schmelke makes a great product, and I'm actually considering ordering another to match the one I just got and have them make a jump/break out of it.

I believe he's talking about cue ball deflection (squirt), not shaft deflection (stiffness). I don't think they're related.
