Two questions:
I was reading the other thread about a Viking ferrule and was wondering if anyone knew how the Joss and Schon ferrules are put on the end of the shaft, i.e. threaded, glued, etc. What is their construction methods?
One other question: I guess after years of tip reinstalling a ferrule will eventually be worn down a bit from the installation process. How much ferrule (space) is there before you start hitting wood?
