finally pulled the trigger on a new Schon! should arrive friday from Platinum Billiards in Florida. that Mr. Shane Sinnott is a great guy to deal with, he knows how to keep a customer! and he even had the weight i wanted in stock, on the model i wanted.........
so, those of you with a Schon, does that Schon tip play hard? or medium? i'll probably end up taking this to Mr. Chad Carter down in Owensboro, KY in the near future and have him modify the shaft to my liking, and probably replace that tip with a pressed elkmaster.
along with this Schon i have coming, i have a Chad Carter custom cue, a Nova custom cue, and a Jacoby. three different Cuetec cues, and a Lucasi cue along with a Predator shaft. plus three different break shafts, including one with the phenolic tip and ferrule. and a handful of, shall we say, some lesser expensive cues i let people use when they come over to play.
anyway, looking forward to that Schon, the last time i hit with one was a few years ago and as i recall it hit very, very solid.
