Hard to find original Schon black widow. Great condition 12.75 original shaft approx 20oz ...mabey a little lighter? Great balance excellent hit. 525.00 shipped lower 48. Thanks for looking

I thought the original BW had a white butt cap ? The reason i ask, is because i own one too, with a white butt cap and i thought it was an original. :confused:
 
From my previous communications with Schon about this same buttcap question:

BW1 (the original BWs) came in black or white buttcap. These were ebony handle(grip area), buttsleeve and points. If you look close at the grip area, you can see the wood grain.

BW2 the grip area was black linen with a hard coating and you might need to look closely to see that there is linen under the finish.

BW3 and newer had obvious ring design changes.
