the cue on the left looks like an older ebony version of the SL 9. or even a cross between the SL9 and the SL10
seems to be rings of the sl10, but the ebony version of the sl9 buttsleeve and the forearm design sl9 ... i am sure it has its own number but i couldnt find
the exact match...

i believe the cue on the right is a version of the CX-20...

Thank you! You found much better matches than I could - even though they aren't exact. I was told the cues were made in 93 but am not at all sure that is reliable info.

in order to tell if they were made in 1993, you would need to post a pic of the actual joint screws...

I examined them both about an hour ago. The CX20? is in pretty decent shape with only the lower ring set protruding through the finish a little. Shafts are a little dirty but not terrible. The STL11 (I think you are right Bob) is in better shape except for a nasty gouge into the wood up below the joint about 2". Don't think I need either of them.
