Does anybody know if the subject cue has a weight bolt? And if so, I assume its a fairly easy process to lower the weight of said cue. Correct?

I have never seen a Schon cue that did not have a weight bolt and when I encountered one without a bolt,
it was because the owner had taken the bolt out to make the cue lighter but those cues I've seen felt oddly
balanced with the bolt removed.......Dean Campbell might know if you reached out to him.

Do a search. I use a Schon as my daily player and I could not remove the bolt. People on other threads said that they are glued or epoxied in. I think if you need the bolt changed, it may be best to have Schon do it.

I use a Schon CX04 and had no problem with removing the weight bolt. Large, slotted head, if I remember correctly.
