Schon CX Cues

I've recently been looking at buying a Schon CX-08 cue, however, I was talking to one of the house pros where I play at and he said to stay away from the CX line of Schon's because they use lower quality woods/materials. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this or should I stay away from the Cuestix Schons?

All schons are made to the same standards the CX like is just a cuestix exclusive line. And to ease your mind you could always call Clark Evans and tale to him your self (414)383-9661..
