Nice cue...

That is a very nice Schon. I used to live in Milwaukee and used to work for Terry Romine's original poolroom, the one on Wisconsin Avenue, where Schon cues was started in the back room.

The nicest original cues made in that back room that I remember, were a cue made for Dallas West that had cowboy boot, ivory inlays, and another that had ivory chess pieces in the points and butt sleeve. Wonder who wound up with those???

I have run across that same cue. I was trying to talk a guy into selling but he wanted way too much for the condition it was in and didn't have the original shaft and what not. Good to see some of the classic Schon designs still floating around out there.

Thanks guys,I sure wish I could talk him out of it,,:D
What would a Schon like this even be worth in mint condition,What would be a fair price for me to offer him for it (not that it will do anygood he's pretty stuborn)

It is hard to say. I have a feelign that Schon made more than one set of gamblers as well. The guy I was looking to buy one from said his was specifically a 1 of 3. Typically the LTD series are 12 or less.

the one I was looking at was $300 without the original shaft and the butt was in bad shape. I really wanted to buy it but just couldn't justify it. I would have had $600-700 in it which wouldn't have been the end of the world, but I was looking for a player and didn't want to have more than $300-400 in it.
