looking for offers as i'm not sure what they go for second hand....probably about $130/140 ish.....try me i can only say yes or no;)
Just my opinion, but a new (as in not used) Schon IV shaft goes for $175 shipped on eBay, and with the Microsoft Live Search 25% Cash Back deal (which I've posted about a dozen or so times), that's $43.75 off, making it $131.25 total for a brand-new one.

Given that, I really don't think anyone is going to pay $115 for a used one, when they can pay a mere $16 and change more for a brand-new never used one.

thats entirely up to the buyer.....my shafts in excellent condition and is still cheaper than the ebay item.
what happens if someone wants to buy my shaft who is not in the u.s are not eligible for the live search thing?
i am trying to get what the shaft is worth on the 2nd hand market......i can't compete with microsoft/ebay.....which doesn't mean i should give my shaft away.
if someone wants to buy a shaft new they will........if they want an excellent used shaft they'll get mine.
thanks for your concern though........

I was just pointing out what I saw. You're right, you probably can't compete with eBay (really, who can, right?), but if there's no offers or only some lowball offers, it might be something to consider.

Then again, maybe you should put it on eBay with a Buy It Now of $115 r so; in your auction notes, add the text for the Microsoft Live Search $25% Cash Back deal (which would be $28.75, so the buyer knows what to do), so the buyer would "only" end up paying $86.25 for it. You'd get your $115 (minus eBay/PayPal fees, of course), the buyer would get a good deal, and everyone would be happy.

You're right in that it is a very good way for a buyer and seller both to make out. The only problem with the Microsoft/Ebay cash back, is that you can ONLY spend the money from the cash back on Ebay. So if someone is not a regular Ebay user, they can't get their money by any means other than buying something else. For a regular Ebay user (like myself), the deal is an excellent one.

Uh, noooooo.

The Cash Back is deposited directly in your PayPal account, and it's exactly that: CASH BACK. It's not some sort of "special eBay-only currency".

Not sure where you got that idea from.
dontknow.gif
It's deposited as regular funds in your PayPal account, and you can withdraw it, spend it, leave it sitting there, use at at Amazon, or whatever else you want to do with it. You should really check out the FatWallet.com thread on it.

Ask me how I know this. Never mind, I'll tell you: I've done it (and gotten the cash back) 3 times already.

My apologies. When reading all the terms and conditions I saw "You must redeem Cashback Rewards obtained as a result of a purchase on www.eBay.com exclusively via your PayPal account." I mistakenly took that to mean via a purchase. Thanks for the correction.
