Player - MWK & Barnett
Fellow pool enthusiasts, I had this posted in the cue reviews area and don't know how to switch it to this area so I'm reposting here. What I have is a Schon LTD but don't know what model it is. Any help would be appreciated, was looking for year range, price range and model number.

Thanks all.

If you don't get an answer here, try contacting Schon directly thru their website.

Schon LTD cues are limited to only 12 being produced. Yours seems to be one of the simpler designs. Their higher end designs that they have available right now start at about $880 for a standard out of the box cue that is a little fancier than yours but not much so I would be willing to bet yours sold for about the same when new. Depending on condition I would say you are looking at $400-$600 if you wanted to sell it. I know several people that have the special limited to 7 editions that they can't sell for $1,000 and are usually going for around $700-$800.

I agree that this cue is not as dazzling or intricate as some other Schon LTD's, however it is not the most simple design either. I have been looking all over the net to find this cue and have not had any luck. I have ran across some other LTD's that are a very simple design and are listing for between 600 and 800. Regardless, the price is not the main point, in fact price is always irrelevant. There are 3 prices for every product out there, the price its worth, the price you are asking for it, and the most important, the price someone pays for it. I have emailed Schon twice about this cue and have yet to hear back from them which is why I'm posting here.

Thanks again for all the info that is found.

I spent some time researching this cue after my post as well. Couldn't find anything. Found one LTD that was similar but still different. Even carefully went thru Schon's very own archives and still no luck. Even if it's not as intricate as some others, I'm betting it's somewhat rare, which should help some with the value.

You are right, they are listing for that much. But on the other hand so are just regular ol' Schons. Right now that is just the price people are paying for a Schon, it doesn't seem to matter if it's a CX or LTD or whatever, obviously the lower end models like the CX 1 isn't selling for that much but you get the point.
