hi folks, i'm hoping someone out there can give me info on this cue that i recently acquired. the previous owner passed away last may & left no history of it. i'm pretty sure ,judging from the gold engraving on the shaft collar & the radial pin that it's a 1993.
i am wanting to know the model # ( if there is one ) approx value & any history on the
signature.i have sent schon numerous e-mails with pics for over a month now but haven't heard back from them. maybe someone has a link for an expert that i could contact as i am new to this forum. thanks,

thanks for the info but as i said,i already know it's probably a 1993 ltd but i'm seeking more info on it,model#, value & signature info or a contact who might know about it other than schon because i've been waiting to hear from him for over a month now.
thanks again,
mick

Google "Grady Mathews".You will find tons of info.Recently passed, but was a great player and instructor!

thanks for the reply but i am more interested in the history of the schon cue with grady's signature on it. i am an old "hog pool" player & grady was always one of my favorites ! do you think grady may have owned this cue at one time or do you think he signed for himself or someone else or do you think grady might have endorsed a ltd series for schon ?

Signatures on cues don't raise they're value unless it's a cue the signee used. Most of the time the signature totally removes all value to a cue. I have no idea what model # it is. So unless that was Grady's cue, the value of that cue isn't really going to change. As far as a value, I'm not that well versed but I would say $800 is a good price.

It's likely a signature done for whoever owned the cue. I don't think I have ever seen or heard of Grady using a Schon.

If it was a signature done for Schon to produce it would be under the finish.

Its the LTD 142, sold new for about 610 if memory serves. Full retail was around 857. Depending on condition 400-600 if somebody really likes it.
As far as the signature, I would say the original owner got Grady to autograph it.
Hope this helps
Chuck

That's a Acme pin and they used it it in '93 along with the "SCHON" on the collars.

FYI, Schon has never used an ACME thread pin. What makes you think this is an ACME?
Just trying to figure where misinformation comes from.

Chuck, i can't find any pics or info online about this model #. Can you please send me a link as to where you ran across this cue.
Thanks,
mick
