Up for your grabs is a High End Schon LTD Cue

The forearm and butt sleeve is black ebony, the inlays include white material (some showing grain), pink ivory wood and Schon's secret material in blueish green. The wrap is black with white specks(new) the butt cap material is black derlin. The ferrule is NOT ivory. The tip is a kamui like new. As you may have noticed the joint is not the standard Schon steel joint. The joint is the good stuff with grain and starts with an I and ends with a y. If your not sure what this is email me. Several months after the joint was updated cue was dropped on a carpeted floor. Forearm broke and air pockets in glue was the cause. Schon would not stand behind cue because they didn't preform the joint change. a cuesmith repair the cue. He bored and replaced the core with a solid maple core. He also refinished entire cue including shaft. Cue weighs in at 19.7 ozs. shaft diameter is 12.5 MM at tip ferrule. Cue rolls good both together and apart. Cues plays and looks better than it it did new. The only signs of any repair work are the glue lines left in the white hour glass shaped inlays.(see picture) They are undetectable by feel due to they are under the finish. Cue is free of knicks, dings and scratches. The joint improvement was a $250.00 alone. This gives much more feel to the hit, but yet still hits hard. Due to the white material in cue i am unable to ship outside of USA. Please feel free to ask any questions
this cue comes with two shafts the other shaft as a sniper med tip
i will take $1000 obo

nice looking schon all ivory

thanks..chris

cue for sale

the cue is very nice looking! but just a heads up no matter how you fix a cue that is broke in half its still a cue that was broke in half I wouldnt expect to get half of what your asking for it. it is pretty looking though!
sorry if I put any salt on open sores.

Why should he be banned for trying to make money on a cue? If this is grounds for banishment most of the people on here should be banned. Thats a nice f^^in cue, if it wasn't broken in half...

i am a firm believer of selling something for whatever you wish.. wether you loose money or are trying to make money.. its the american way...

anyways, looking at the description which is the same as the orginal seller used on ebay.. ( which is no big deal) the lines in the ivory inlays are described as glue lines.. which it is actually where the cue was broke in half and was re attached so they can be considered cracks..

anyways.. i must say whoever it was that did the repair.. seems to have done an amazing job at joining both halves together as to make the line to be that fine... well.. atleast what we can tell by the pictures....

but i must admit that it is something far more than just glue lines and is something that is serious and should be taken into consideration..

anyways.. best of luck with your sale..

It is a disgrace to ask double. I read it as an insult because it was publicly sold only a few weeks ago - thats why, baring that I'd agree he can ask whatever price he wants but out of the 27 bids it had - they felt it was only worth roughly $500 to them.

Anyhow, I take it a bit personal (though I shouldnt) to see someone buy a cue from ebay (a reworked cue at that) and attempt to sell it for double here. It just says to me "hey stupid, yeh you - want to buy this cue? $1k".

I'd honestly sing a different tune if it was stated "I got this great deal for $450 but we know it's really worth $1k thus my asking price".

Call me crazy but it just feels like a big insult. Sorry if anyone was offended :-\

schon cue

I am not trying to win money, just trying to bring attention to the cue

Attention

If all you are trying to do is bring attention to the cue I would start by figuring out the name of the person who repaired it. And man this isn't ebay, you can say ivory all you want.
