Schon Question

I just received a Schon in the mail today and noticed that the joint looks like it has a small brass insert. I don't remember seeing this on other Schons. Does anyone know when they started doing this?

The brass is in the joint. Schons use a brass pilot in the shaft, but I have never seen it in the S/S joint. This is a terrible photo, but I am using my phone, no macro.

Are you sure that's an insert? Looks like the brass sheared off and stuck to the inside of the joint.

I've never seen that either. Check with Evan Clark at Schon. He can answer any questions you'd have.

yes, you will have to check with Schon cues. I have never seen that on one of there cues.
