Schon R-7 Question

I just purchased a Schon R-7 from my buddy that needed some money. From what he said it is a rerelease of the original R-7. After shooting with it for a week I am liking it. I was wanting to buy a LD shaft for it. My question is the joint. Do i need to get a LD shaft with a special piloted joint or will the standard 5/16X14 joint work. I also wanted to know what LD shaft everyone else went with and what tip and why. Thanks again for all the help. Michael

Standard 5/16x14 will work fine, but you can sometimes find shafts with a Schon specific joint as well, but it's not necessary.

Lots of good LD shafts, I have Tiger X Pro and a Z2 S-tuned for my Schon and like both a lot. Schon and an LD shaft is a great combo.

With my Schon I have used many LD shafts, some from Perdator, OB, Jacoby, McDermott, and the Players HXT, 5/16 X 14. Some with the Schon pilot, the standard pilot, flat faced, all seemed to fit and work just fine

I have a Schon STL and Predator shaft and like the combination.
