Schon S-8

Hello,
In another thread I saw a link to a Schon S-8 bumper less "kinda hoppe style" cue. Is there many of these cues out there? What are these cues selling for if there is one for sale?

These were one of the first schon cues made in the early 80's and are very rare. There is a low chance of finding one of these for sale, and if you do it will likely be very expensive due to the rarity.

Has Schon produced a cue in that style since? Same style not so rare?

I've never seen any other schon without a bumper, hoppe style. The closest sharp pointed spliced Schon to the S-8 is the R-6 which is no longer made but comes up for sale much more often. Pricing usually ranges 650-900 depending on condition, number of shafts, diameters, etc..

Alright here my lack of cue knowledge comes in. Its not so much the bumperless Im interested in "though would like" its the size of the butt cap which is much smaller on S series. Is that due to it being bumperless? Any styles with that smaller but cap?
