I'm sure cutting these old carom rails brings a tear to the Pool Gods eyes but in this case it may be justified. This table started her life as a 10 ft. carom table, only to be cut down to a 9ft. carom table. What good is a 9ft. carom table?
We put a lot of work in this one...
Replace slate, we had an old set of Blat slate, we patched all the rail bolt holes, drilled new and made new slate frames.
The rail work was done by Randy Burke, anyone who has done rails with the old flat pocket irons knows what a challange they are. These are reproduction "G" irons by the way. (Note to the guy who drilled the pocket bolt holes in the irons, PLEASE stop drinking on the job)
