But seriously Ray's design is pretty sound and the current manufacturer can execute. The one new Sculer shaft I bought fit and hit like the older ones.

I've hit with and played with them both. They all hit the same IMHO. It's the joint.

I remember Grady doing an exhibition at my local poolhall when I was a kid. He was playing with a Leonard bludworth. He had some he was selling, I still kick myself for not buying one. I did however take a lesson from him, something I'll never forget, he was such a great guy.

I believe Grady played with a Schuler

Every time I saw Grady, he was playing with a different cue.

He won his World Championships with a Schon I believe.
