Hi
I have 3 excel spreadsheets that any of you can download if you like,
they will be included in this post. They will really useful if you have
your screen near your pool table.
You should be aware if you download them that they contain macros, you
will need to trust me that they are safe. To download right click on the
attached filename and select the 'save target as' option.
If you enable the macros and find that they still do not work for you then
your level of macro security may be too high. To change this when in the
spreadsheet click on tools - options. Then on the security tag, then on the
Macro Security button. Select the option Medium. This means Excel will
always ask you whether or not you want to enable any macros in an excel
sheet. By doing this the macros will now work for you. You will only need
to do this once.
1. Match Scoreboard. This is a simple scoreboard you can use for keeping
frame score in a set and on a second worksheet keeping Set score for your
match. All you have to do is set the Race to cell on both sheets and each
time you win a frame click on the appropriate button. Similarly when you
win a set switch sheets and click on the appropriate button.
2. Q-SKILL Scorecard. This is a practice game developed by A. Hopkins I
think (sorry if I am wrong). It contains two sheets one is the scorecard
and the other is the rules. The scorecard will give you a session rating
and will also give you a 10 session(Q-SKILL) rating.
3. FARGO Scorecard. This is a great game to play with friends. It contains
two sheets one is the scorecard and the other is the rules. I posted a beta
version of this last week asking for comments and received them from
Mike Page (one of the games creators) and Donovan. Both were looking for
the same things, so I have changed it now to incorporate there ideas. Many
Thanks to both of you for that.
Regards
SJ
