Scotch Doubles vs. The Ghost...

does anyone know or has anyone heard of a way to play Scotch doubles with a buddy against the ghost???

My Brother and I play the ghost scotch here and again,, we just break, if nothing goes in, take ball in hand, and alternate shots.. If something does fall on break ,we dont play ball in hand.......
