Very nice Ken, the Ivory dots came out looking very nice on this cue. Give me a call the next time you bring it in to town!!!!!! David
I'm sure it looks even better in person.
Here are some pics of the finished Titlist Purpleheart cue converted by Scott Whisler in Mesa, AZ. The cue is absolutely gorgeous....knowing what we started with vs what we ended up with is stunning to me
We used Ivory from a section of a 50 to 60 yr. old Walrus tusk recovered in Alaska by a friend of mine's father who was an Aleut native. It has some very unusual and unique marbeling which I think you will be able to see in the pics
We used the same Ivory throughout the cue for the joint, ferrule, inlays and Hoppe ring.
We settled on the white with green spec irish linen wrap to accentuate the veneers and purpleheart
The cue weighs approx. 19 oz, 13mm Talisman tip with pad, SS radial pin, very well balanced at about 18 inches from the butt -- shoots VERY solid
