I wish there was a place to find out what cue to buy next.. RARRR....
I have a Judd that is a bit firm for my taste. So, any recommendations? Sorry for the generally obvious question that I'm sure a lot of you have had also.

go to the cue forums.

if your judd is too firm, and firm is not what you like, you will not like a cog and maybe not a black. cog is stiff and blacks have an odd very dense hit.

Get a Mottey or White, they're quite nice. Bob Frey also makes good hitting cues.

Of the choices, I think you'd be leaning to the Bluegrass and the Scruggs.

I would try one of the newer Scruggs with the big pin - a little stiffer than his old 5/16x14 cues, but still not very stiff. Nick seems to always have Scruggs cues at good prices.

I mentioned the newer big-pin ones because you seemed to be leaning toward 'stiff'; however, if you get an old 5/16x14 pin wood-to-wood sneaky Pete, you may never want to hit with anything else.
