Scruggs on Ebay - Why so Cheap?

its plain jane and only come with one shaft...Thats why I think it was sold for only that much. And the market for pool cue is soft right now.

It still seems odd to me. I've seen a sneaky with collared joint go for close to $700 on the bay. Ah well, good for me =)

Chris.

Schon

I won't be able to take pics until tomorrow. When I have decent light I'll take several and shoot them off to your e-mail address.

ST sneaky pete is more rare than a plain jane just like SW sneaky pete is more expensive and rare than most of SW cue

The TS Sneaky cues are considered by many to be the best hitting cues available. This has driven the price of his SP cues through the roof. (They do hit great by the way) But you are comparing apples to oranges when it comes to price for this reason.

So you bought it. If you bought it AS a player...not bad.AS a dealer...Not good.AS a collector... Hmmm??? I don't think you did bad. Good luck with your new cue!

Thanks. I bought it as a player. If I beat it up enough and decide to get it refinished, I'll add another shaft and put it away as a collectible.

Chris.

Not a bad idea! but make sure you have Bob Frey do it cause him and timmy were making together at the beginning of TS cue Era.

Thanks for the info. And I will definitely let him know you sent me. When/if I get the cue refinished and need another shaft =)

Chris

I have a killer TS but sadly i am the only one who knows its a true TS, when i got it i didnt know as much about cues as i do now. When i got it, the butt cap was split wide open on two opposite sides. I liked the feel and hit so it was a keeper. Not knowing the value i had the butt replaced. So sad!!! Then i was pissed at the guy who replaced, he was a very experienced cuemaker. He should have known what i had and advised me otherwise. Its still a Scruggs and its my everyday player. Still hits like a champ!
