I have two early Scruggs sneaky Pete's each with delrin but caps. One I had refinished by proficient billiards, the other which I just acquired has the original finish in great shape. My first question, is it better value wise to leave it origonal or ok to refinish and change ferrule? Also, with booth cues the shafts do not lay flat on the bed of the table. When rolled the gap straws fairly consistent, and the tip stays on the table. Is this because of the way the shaft is tapered, or is it warping? One last question, what type of tip did Tim originally put on his cues? Triangle?
