SCWBT 9-Ball results from Jay's Billiards

Here are the results from Jay's Billiards at the Hollywood Park Casino.

Jay Helfert welcomed the players of the SCWBT into his room for their first event of 2003.

Tina Pawloski beat Jenny Lee in the finals 9-5.

Tina was in stroke on Sunday, coming back from an early loss to Veronica Vivette to beat
Vivianne Ortiz 5-3,
Kim Benson 5-4 in the Quarter-finals,
Veronica Vivette 5-3 in the Semi-finals,
Jenny Lee 9-5 in the Finals.

Tina was battling a cold all weekend. She won the qualifying spot to the San Diego WPBA event which starts on March 27th, and earned a lot of respect in the process. Tina came up with some really big shots when she needed too.

Kim Benson won the other qualifying spot for the WPBA event in Illinois the week of June 11-15.
