How is a normal person supposed to know some of these answers..
Makes is nearly impossible to search on here
 
Sorry, but I don't understand what you are talking about. Please try to explain it in more detail, and someone probably will be able to help you.
 
When you go to search for something.... lets say "Meucci". It asks you a question... Like "Buddy Hall is the king of _____?"
 
That is because this forum is made up of abnormal people and the search parameters are configured on that basis. :smile:

Not always helpful? Surprised you ever found it useful. Worst search function on any forum I've been on. Who cares if some unregistered user wants to do a search. If you want people to log in to search, why not completely hide the forums from anyone not logged in? On top of that, you can't use three letter words for the search either. It's easier to go to google and search for the terms you want and add "site: forums.azbilliards.com" to the end to only get results on this site returned.
 
I gave up using the search function a long time ago. Returns 100s of threads, most of which have nothing to do with the search keywords.

I wonder if those posters who like to yell "Use the search you idiot!" have ever used it themselves?
 
Like Hits 'Em Hard said, just use google. Search for whatever you want to search for, and add "site:forums.azbilliards.com" to the end of it. It will allow you to search this website specifically. You can do that with any website by adding "site:" before the url.

I think having only 9 posts is part of the problem....
...you get more privileges after 50, I believe.
And google is good
 
I'm a little slower than most....

Before I registered I used google to find the answer to the question and then answer the question and then deal with the results!!!!!
 
Oh, those wonderful times before I became a member, when I had to google every single one of these questions :rolleyes: at least I've learned a thing or two...
