Searching for A Cue......(Picture)...

Hi Folks.

Please excuse an (AZ) forum Noob here.

A while ago.....(Before I joined up) I spent a late night searching through this (Extended and extensive) forum, and happened upon a thread which had an attachment depicting a Dieckman cue that was being auctioned in Japan (Or some similar far off place). It had some unusual inlays in the butt section, and I think may have been made (partly) from Osage Orange.

Can anyone link me to that thread, or indeed....tell me any more about that cue if they know the one I am talking about.

Yes, I know the Ebay Seller. And He a Dieckman Cue Collector.

That was a very old post/thread of mine. Pictures probably remove by now.

Your best bet
1. Search Dieckman Archives of Cues at his site www.cuemaker.com
2. Just call Dieckman and describe the cue to DD . All DIECKMAN have a story!!
3. Buy or have one make -They all are a one of a kindzzzz.

Why are You asking? You can PM that answer.

Is This The Cue??????? Unusual inlays in the butt section are Diamonds, see the one on Ebay.

Thanks for the reply. The cue in the bottom picture was the one that appeared in the thread I was looking for. I think it was that picture in fact.

Do you know the thread, or have a better copy of that pict ? I can't make out if there are any inlays in the forearm. (Stars ?)

If I can better identify the cue, and its the one I am thinking of, ..... I can add to its story !

If that not the cue - then there a twin running around, Its depend what written on the Handle.
If the Master keep me up til 3am, then bothering him is no problem on my half.
