I Live In The Phoenix Az Area And Have Been Looking For A Used Elitte Spider Three Cushion Table. They Seem To Be Extremely Rare. There Is Only One Table Here In Town At A Local Pool Hall. I Have Seen Some For Sale On The Internet In Mexico City, but The Shipping Distance And Language Barrier Is A Problem.i Would Not Turn Down A Gold Crown If I Could Find One.last Week There Were Two Gold Crowns For Sale On The East Coast.one Sold For 999.00.does Anyone Have Any Idea On The Price And Whereabouts Of Used Three Cushion Tables In The Arizona Area?

Stay away from the Gold Crown. They're not much good for 3C.

PM Jewett. He's at least in the West. Also Mazin Shooni sells used tables but he's on the East Coast.

Paul Frankel (www.professorqball.com) could hook, you up with an awesome Gabriel. I love a Gabriel tables! There will probably be a used 3c for sale at the Riviera after the Vegas event mid-May. You might try to get that one.

I know that Pockets in AZ bought two Elitte tables from Carom Cafe after the 2005 Sang Lee International Open. Is there only one table there?
Best way to get an Elitte table is to contact Roberto Rojas in MX.

I've never played on a Gold Crown that didn't play short at least 1/2 diamond from 5 to 3 for instance. IMO they're not heavy enough. In theory they should be fine but I've come to the conclusion that either there's too much vibration when the balls hit the rails or the rail height is wrong or both. It's very hard to see the diamonds with all the glare and they seem to be slightly behind the crown making them even harder to see.

If you think about how current European tables are made with steel "I" beams and 60 mm thick slate or thicker you have to wonder why are they made so heavy. If you look at how the old Brunswicks (pre WWll) were made with the "T" rail and 1-1/2" slate you also have to wonder why.

When you hit a ball on a European table you can't even hear the ball travel. Try to get past 8 rails on a Gold Crown. I'll be tough. I can get 10 on my old modified Brunswick and have seen 11. I've been told that 13 rails can be had on a heavy European Table

Lastly and unfortunately it's a fact that after the Mosconi - Hoppe era Brunswick lost interest in promoting Billiards and Pool, moving to Bowling. They lost a lot of records and knowledge in the 1974 Virginia Plant flood. I honestly think they don't know how or care to make 3-Cushion Tables. If you want one we'll make you a Gold Crown the finest pool tabel we make. That's what you get. A Pool table with no pockets.

You might email Roberto Rojas also.
Here some events using the table with Photos and videos.

Hope this might help.
Look at the crowd there...it's stadium-like...why can't pocket billiards do the same and be sponsored by Mercedes???
