searching forum for pool info

Does anyone have advise on searching for information? For instance, search for break cue to find out what break cues people are using and the search engine deletes the word cue because it is too small. Then you get anything with the word break in it. Also, search for a cue type, and it must be looking in the sig lines too because threads come up that have nothing to do with your cue search, except maybe someone has the cue listed in their sig line.

Would it be smart to categorize the threads into 3 or 4 categories? For instance, product reviews, aiming, mechanics of pool playing, and misc.? That way, you could just read the product threads to find info (for instance). Try to search for aiming or anything and there are a whole lot of posts that don't help out. It would be easy to indicate the thread category when starting a thread.

Also, can someone tell me if the sig. lines are in the searches? If they are, they shouldn't be.

You aren't clear where you are searching in your post. Maybe if you search for jump/break cue it will return something you can use. I would try in the buy/sell area, if you haven't already.

You could try Google. After your search query, just type "site:forums.azbilliards.com" [without the quote marks] in the search bar.

Alternatvely, go into Google's advanced search option and type "forums.azbilliards.com" [no quotes] in the field "Search within a site or domain"
