searing cues??

I don't know what searings go for new, but the secondary market for his work is ridiculous IMO. But if folks are willing to pay 3k + for a dufferin with a unilock joint then I guess stupid us as stupid does.

Searing is a genius in how he does business. Oh yea, he is a good cue builder too. I admire him more than the cues.

No doubt he makes a good pool cue. To be honest all pool cues can be played with unless it shoots like a broom stick. Therefore, there is no such thing as one cue playing better than the other. It is the shooter.

Only thing that separates one from the other is aesthetics and that is where a Searing is good but 3k for a Dufferin with a joint is crazy. Well, crazy of the consumers.

Want to know what is crazy? I saw a shaft go for $1200 the other day and literally spit out my diet soda.

What makes me curious - if a maker such as Searing is renowned for such perfection regarding their builds, does that make Dufferin the penultimate splice builder if they are used in their works?
