Just got my new Jim Vest sent to me the other day. It has a segmented Birdseye handle, but almost looks curly as well. Ebony forearm and butt. The cue is fully cored. Double sterling silver ringwork at all positions. Solid Elphoryn(sp?) Joint with a Radial pin. Matching joint protectors to top the cue off. The cue has a really nice finish, Jim does awesome work.
I've only been able to play a few racks since receiving it, but it has a nice, crisp, solid hit to it. I'm looking forward to putting in a long session with this soon.
