I just bought some spots myself, I will be playing hoping to make the cash. Coming down from Indianapolis to check out the big money calcutta hoping to take home a monster prize. You never know who might be in the house for this one.

Where is the best hotel that is the closest. Does not have to be the cheapest but location/proximity/quality is all a big plus??
Oh yeah I am bringing an eight ball player or two with me, does anyone play 8 ball down there we like to play league rules and will bet a little something. We will see if we can shake up some action in the south.

Kiamco, Wiseman, Frost and "Nitro" seem to find the South rather friendly. If you want I'll check to see if they know the league rules for 8 ball and if they have the stones to bet a little something.

No problem, with Big Truck www.poolactiontv.com doing the streaming at both events, it's easy to get them entwined.
Just for your info, Lafayette (White Diamonds) and New Iberia (Emerald Billiards) are neighbors and relatively close to one another.
If you go to either, and you have the time, it's worth a trip to go visit the other pool room.
Chris Miller from White Diamonds will be here I'm sure. If y'all like those BIG Calcuttas at White Diamonds, Mr Keith Hulin, the owner here at Emeralds, is one of the reasons that auction gets so big. He aint letting nobody steal here either.

When most players who gamble pass through Louisiana hitting the different pool rooms, they almost always say, "You guys have a lot of action". In many parts of the country it is difficult to find even a $10 or $20 game of one pocket. Our worst bangers often play for much more than that.
Hurricanes don't toss money around any better than Louisiana people betting on pool.

(Just make sure you bring a strong stake horse with a big bank roll, because you won't get much action without it.)
