Sexual Dimorphism in Clueless Pool Players

I'm talking about the right-foot-to-the-left-of-left-foot stance, left leg crossed behind right. You've seen it, haven't you?
.

Yep I have seen it, my mom does this :D. I think women do this because they aren't aware that it makes a difference how they stand. I've seen guys do this too.

In regards to whether or not this is a objectionable thread, I don't think it is in any shape or form. I think it is interesting to find these types of behavioural patterns. Keeping in mind we are not stating the superiority of one gender over the other, nor are we putting anybody down. Personally I think the threads titled "why can't women play well?" get worse than this. The Earl threads get way out of hand.

However most of the issues brought up are not exclusive to any gender. Many of these traits can be traced back to who ever taught them. The claw bridge, side hand bridge, various silly stances ridiculous rules, they have all been passed down from someone else.

Now that would be funny, but I have not been so blessed. ;)

Well put, Cameron. This is just the same stuff of which Seinfeld is made.

Many of these traits can be traced back to who ever taught them.

And taught the behavior in an entirely different context, i. e., miniature golf, Miss Prudence's School of Ladylike Manners, the kitchen, etc.

All of the questions are easy to answer...because people dont know better and dont care!!!!!!!! Its very easy to understand, not everyone is serious about pool like us...and you what, that is ok. You dont realize how many times all of us have looked like complete idiots, myself included, when we were out of our elements. I coach baseball and their are thousands of unspoken litle mores and norms that the common person knows nothing about and they break all the time. You know what? Its ok...they dont coach baseball or play baseball for a living. Get over it.
