SFO bay area?

Both California and Family Billiards are great rooms. Family is more of a players room as there is not much place for spectators to watch. The table in the front is triple shimmed and all of there equipment is very well cared for (at least the last time I was there about a year ago). California Billiards is my favorite pool room (besides Hardtimes, Bellflower). The owner is nice, good tournaments, the room is also well cared for, they have a great menu and plenty of parking. Check out both rooms if you are in the area.

On the Peninsula I like B-Street Billiards in San Mateo the most. However, I blush to confess that I usually go to the Nut House in Palo Alto -- a dive bar beyond any, but yet have three 9-foot tables (two of them are even coin tables!) and one bar sized table. Free nuts, cheap beer, and an obnoxious (but friendly) bartender -- what else do you need?!

What do you think is the best place for you when it comes to pool houses? :)

If you like one pocket, the broken rack in emeryville is a good place as well. Always action during the day.

Cheers,
RC

I think the B-Street in San Meteo might be more accesible for me.

By the way, what is the best pool house where there are lots of actions? (small or big time) :D

Anybody interested to hit some balls tonight? I will be in the san francisco city area from 6pm onwards. Send me a PM so I can give my mobile number. :D

If your looking for good table and fast cloth... I wouldn't recommend B Street. I believe all their tables are 8x4s. In the city, stick to Family Billiards. In south bay, I'd say California Billiards or Campbell Billiards.

Play tonight?

I couldn't agree more. If you're in the city (SF) and don't want to drive more than 15 minutes, than Family Billiards is the place. But I still recommend driving the short distance down 101 or 280 (depending on where you're staying) and going to CA Billiard Club in Mountain View.

Thaks guys.... I guess youre right. The B Street billiards are using 4x8's. Last night, I dropped by the pool house in San Pedro cor Mission Sts in Daly City. They do have good tables and fast cloth.

I will be there tom evening to attend the b-day celebration of one of my friends.

I will delete some of the messages so you can some some. Thanks again.
