On that note, you might want to try the "Search" feature here on AZB. You'll notice that your "tip" about the Magic Eraser is actually a very old and known one.

But an occasional "reminder" is good, I guess.

He's right. The lathe "effectively" prevents flat areas from forming along the shaft. :smile:

Yup, this is called "ovaling" -- which happens when scrubbing longitudinally along the length of the shaft with uneven pressure. A lathe rotates the shaft laterally, so ovaling is impossible.

I've read you're entire post and what Sean says is correct. There's been a boatload of threads regarding that product. Some even mimmicing the very things you spoke of.
Not an indictment Rhale, just a fact. :)
