I was wondering if anyone on the board who plays with a Black Boar cue as I do, has used a 314 or black dot or any other shaft on their Boar. And if so, did it play differently? Did the feel of the hit or any other aspect change for the better or worse. I like the way my Boar shaft hits, but I like to stay open minded.

I think your BB shaft will hit better than any aftermarket shaft you can put on it.

How long have you used the cue?

You had better try some tips on the origional shaft or shafts! Show us a picture of the cue in question, is it new or old- BB cues by Tony sell very quickly!

I know a part-time professional who uses a Black Boar cue and has a Predator 314-2 on it. I'd say who it is, but I want that person's permission first.

This person doesn't hide the Predator shaft, but s/he isn't sponsored by Predator either, so I don't think s/he advertises it.

Z2s and OB2s are cheap compered to a Black Boar. You can probably afford to buy a fitted Z2 and/or OB2 and try them out.

Personally, I like the Z2 better than the Black Dot. I have an OB2 on order but haven't gotten it yet.
