Shaft Conditioner question

Are these two the same thing? (Cue Silk and McDermott Ultra Glide)

I've bought the Cue Silk in the past for wood shafts, but with the new carbon fiber shaft came this McDermott Ultra-Glide. I'm wondering if I can use the Cue Silk on a carbon fiber shaft, or if there are different ingredients in shaft conditioner used for wood and carbon fiber.

Pretty sure either can be used on wood or cf. Might contact McD. to double check. Still don't know why McD didn't finish the Defy like the other cf shafts. They need no such treatment.
