I have an Eliminator Cue that I bought about 10 years ago. I am also looking to just by a shaft to put on my existing Eliminator butt section.

It is a Woven fiberglass over maple similar to Cuetec. The joint is 3/8” diameter. When I count the threads I get 7 in a half inch or that would be 14 threads in one inch. So I believe I have a 3/8” x 14 joint.

I read somewhere, cannot seem to find it again, that the Cuetec Joint is 3/8” x 14.

I am wondering what low deflection shaft you finally bought for your Cuetec butts section and how happy you are with your purchase.

Does the cue seem fairly well balanced. How is the hit, do you get vibration thru the shaft to the butt section. etc, etc,.

Feel free to write as much as you want about your experience in putting a low deflection shaft on a Cuetec butts section. I would really like to know about your experience.

I would also like to know which tip you went with as a tip can also have a lot to do with how well the shaft performs.
Thanks.
