Shaft sealer

I've used Chris's sealer and It works well, dries quick and polishes well. It's more then likely, the same basic formula I make mine from, and some other guys use. I figured it out on My own, but have found out since, that some others use the same stuff I do to make theirs, and out of respect for Chris & the others I Won't share It either, so sorry, but please no Pm's on that one guys. I will just say the stuff he sells works & seals the shaft from dirt well, because I have used it before. The cost is really not much more then what it would cost to make yourself anyway, and you don't have to mix any nasty chemicals & fumes up & suffer the headaches from It.

Most probably use a lacquer based sanding sealer or something similar. Sanding sealers can be obtained from any paint store.

Sanding sealer is nice but not the same as a sealer that can be lightly sanded and buffed.

sealer

I use the sealer that Chris sells. It does a Good Job. And I go through about a half gallon a year doing cue repair at home and at tournaments.

I've used the same sealer for 20 years. Shellac thinned 4-1. Read the lable for thinning instructions...JER
