What is your preferred shaft size?
I've used a Predator for years...and I got hooked on Preds because I liked the taper...not because of the deflection.
Now, I'm thinking of going back to a normal shaft. Steve Klein is making me one for my cue and I'm going with between 12.5 and 12.75 pro taper. The deflection characteristics won't be hard to overcome...I just want the "feel" back of a normal shaft. But...if I can't play a lick with a normal shaft, Steve's matched me two 314-2's and one OB1 for my cue over the last year...so I'll have plenty of backup.
What size do you prefer? It seems like all of the pros have long, thin tapers....what about my fellow AZ'ers?
