Can anyone tell me where to buy good shaft wood for a reasonable price? Thanks in advance for the info.

Joey, What is Cuestock? Dominique? I cannot find them anymore, think they are still in business? I searched other threads, and saw some other ideas. Thanks for the response, new to AZ, and just figured out how to search.

ATLAS ?? Are you guys kidding me? If ATLAS has the best shafts you have seen, then you need to be getting them from ME! At least when I tried Atlas' shafts, they were a joke.

How many are you looking for? I process my own and I have sold some in small quantity to cuemakers from time to time, but I don't really want to be in the shaft business.

Mine are all 14+ grains per inch, straight grained and very white. They are all stabilized and then turned down every 2 weeks for about 3 months after dipping. When they are finished with all that, they hang until use at a size of about 0.900 at the joint end and 0.540 -0.550 at the ferrule end. If you needed them final tapered, I can do that too.

PM me for details or email jwpetree@oklahomabilliards.com

Last time I ordered shaft wood from Atlas I bought 5 of them.
I asked them to make sure at least one of them was A++ as it was for a special cue. That is exactly what I got ... four so-so and one nice one.

The best shaft wood is impossable to find unless you are hand picking and cutting the Maple yourself. Then you can do what the others are doing.
Keeping the best and selling the rest.
A+++ shafts for free!!
Wish I had the room to go into the shaft business.
