I have 25 1 x 29.75 shaft dowels F/S. They average about 8 rings/inch or higher. There are one or two that are less but on average they are 8 or higher.. Also they are all pre-center drilled. The price is $8 each buyer actual shipping cost to anywhere in the lower U.S. Add 3% for paypal..
