Atlas is a very good company but they sell phenolic that is sub-standard; period. CueComponents has the good phenolic that works just great as it always has. As far as their Juma, it's a good material and great for ferrules (assuming you like that type of hit) but not what I want to use in my butt or joint sections of a cue. I don't like a plastic or plastic type or plastic feeling material in any part of the cues I build. That's what it feels like and reminds me of. If it works for you, that's great but I tried it and I wasn't happy with the feel of the cue, resonance, etc. To each their own.
