Shane's no-look runout at the bar...

Well, he looks when lining up, but turns away, often theatrically, at the moment of stroke. Cool to see shane goofing and showing off at the same time in a more casual environment. Always hoped I'd run into a pro at a random bar table (that way I could at least win a few games on the easier equipment!).
 
Ha ha, I guess this is how Shane picks up chicks. :D
But seriously, cool video, it's great to see the more "human" side of these pool-machines.

I'm mostly talking about the lady we can hear in the video, though, the one filming him. She seems like she's about to have what's not-so-commonly known as a poolgasm. :grin-loving:
 
Back when Ronnie Alcano was around the Northeast torturing the Joss Tour he would give good players (A to A++) a spot of looking at his shoes after his initial looking at the cue ball. He would beat them bad. Just goes to show that he has perfect form on nearly every shot.
 
He would also use the bridge on every shot against the same level of players and beat them that way too.
 
It does go to show that a huge part of the aiming process is finding the line of the shot and then having a repeatable stroke that delivers the cue ball on that desired line.

Is this not an accepted form of practice to close one's eyes before shooting?
 
He doesn't dog the 8, she posted this on Instagram and it has a 60sec limit.

That was hilarious. I never imagined that I would see SVB goofing off on the pool table.
