Positives

I watched the video. It was pretty close to what I had been experimenting with but it did refine it for me. The results are good enough that I have begun incorporating into regular match play. I just want to get it to the point that no one would notice anything different in what I was doing.
How easy was it?
My wife, who plays absolutely zero pool, walked into the room while I was practicing the other night. I asked her to sit down while I showed her something (last time she fell for that she was twenty-two;)). I pocketed some balls using CTE and asked her to step up to the table. I set up some balls and using an open bridge, she began pocketing balls to her own amazement.
I had to stop her there because, well for the same reason I don't want her to learn how to play golf.

It is no fun until you start to figure it out. In Stage 1 remove all breakable objects from the immediate playing area while you are in this learning process. Later, when IT happens you can do a happy dance and share your positive experience here on AZ so others in Stage 1 can bash you and tell you not to drink the kool-aid. :) This is what I am positive about with CTE.

I watched Dave Segal teach CTE for two hours. That's a positive experience....SPF=randyg

IMHO The time I spent with CTE has return me some improvements in my ability to make Balls that were questionble shots before learn the basics of CTE. I have just started to grasp One Rail Banking with CTE. CTE ROCKS!!!!!!

My most positive experience with CTE is that one time I logged into AZB and there weren't 347 CTE threads on the first three pages of the Main Forum.
