Sharing Machine Enclosure

I just though I would share my new enclosures for my CNC Machine and Tapering Machine. I have always had enclosures around my equipment, but never completely enclosed. These have dust ports for complete dust collector for each enclosure, which ensures minimal dust in the shop. I have never thought the machines were real noisy, but now it is really quiet. Just thought I would share with the class :)

I have one tapering machine with the 4 saw blades completely enclosed. I am thnking about totally enclosing my butt tapering machine also. Thanks for sharing this with us. I just remounted my butt tapering machine with the intent to do something like that.

Chris You have one of Blud's machines? If so did you extend the cables? I would love to enclose that monster if I had the room.... Would save a bunch of time on cleanup though...

very, very nice. What keeps your door from falling back on you? How well does you dust collection system work. I still havnt put mine in yet. This past weekend I made many billet blanks. The fumes from cutting black linen are horrable, infact I can still feel it in my throat! Yea my throat is very raw. I dont think I will make anymore untill I get the duster in place.
Anyways, you did a very good job. Have you though about putting your speed control outside your box. I have found that it makes things a little easer because you dont have to open the doors to control / stop speed.
