I gave away my grinder years ago when I stopped doing metal work, so I'm without any real way to sharpen lathe tools. I guess I can hone them, but certainly can't make/modify them.
I'm thinking of a grinder, but can't really decide which way to go. I think an 8" wheel at 3600RPM is too fast, but 6" grinders tend to come with really crappy tool rests.
Anyhow, just wondering what people are using. I know, it's kind of a boring topic, and if I had ANYTHING I'd just use what I have, but since I have nothing I figured I'd ask.
